"Stand Up and Fight" - When Munster beat the All Blacks by "Alan English"

'My name is Gerry McLoughlin, I used to be a rugby player. Some called me "Locky", others "Ginger". No one called me a coward. A long time ago I played for Munster against the All Blacks. What happened that day can never happen again. The only man who believed we could win was Tom Kiernan, our coach. He could make you believe no team was unbeatable, not even the All Blacks. He said we had the chance to make history.'

A Century of the All Blacks in Britain & Ireland

This 350 page book contains detailed analysis of every tour game played by New Zealand in the Home Unions from September 1905 to November 2005. Compiled by respected rugby historians Dave Fox, Mark Hoskins and Ken Bogle, it is believed this will become the reference work for those interested in New Zealand playing rugby union in this country. With an illustration from virtually every game, the book provides a report of the match, teams and scorers. It has been written from a British point of view, with references to the home players in particular. It has been painstakingly researched and corrects many of the errors found in previous tour books. It contains many previously unpublished facts and items of memorabilia, including a full colour section. The book also has details of the All Blacks' World Cup appearances in these islands.

Published in January 2006, The book has a cover price of £19.99. It is available to members of the Rugby Memorabilia Society for £15, and to non members for £19.00

If you wish to buy a copy, please add postage as follows: UK 1st class - £3.80 (note the book is too heavy for 2nd class) (please add 66p for Recorded Delivery) Europe (Ireland, France, etc.) - £5.50 Rest of the World - £9.50 (air mail) Rest of the World - £4.75 (surface)

Not a book in the true sense but a nice publication covering the 2006 U19 World Championship. Published by IRB with action pictures and team details. How many of these players will go on to play for their country at senior level. Having attended some of the games it was nice to meet boys from Chile and Korea who where just enjoying the occasion, rugby as it should be. I have 8 programmes from the tournament available on a first come first served basics the program cost £2.50 plus postage from Dubai to your end of the world. (Payment by Paypal or cash to UK address email for details)
