Taddy Cigarette Cards
This week is a page of rare cigarette cards, 1905 Taddy New Zealand Footballers these are probably the hardest cards to find of all and command up to £100 each. I have only ever managed to find these few from this set and have seen many disappear at auction. The interesting cards are D. Gallagher captain of the NZ team, and E. Gwyn Nicholls part of the Welsh side of that year. Click on the image for a bigger picture.

It has taken me over 10 years to complete this subset of Taddy cards that are displayed below. Taddy cards are the hardest to find and most expensive of all the cigarette cards, so I was very pleased to buy the last one on eBay last week. They are the Richmond club from South East London one of the oldest rugby clubs in the UK. I have a number of these cards to sell or exchange if anyone is interested in starting their own collection, or needs some to complete a sub-set.
